This product works very well as a sunscreen on my horse’s white nose. Bonus that she absolutely loves when I rub this on her muzzle…. And it smells great. She had not been a fan of previous sunscreens.

This smells so good, my horse even liked it! It is the perfect consistency to get it on his pink nose and muzzle just right, even on the edge of his nostrils. He didn’t try wiping it off, either.
This shampoo has been amazing for my French Bulldog! It lathers really nicely, and a little bit goes a long way. It also smells great and leaves her coat feeling super soft. Since using it along with Coat Defense, I’ve noticed a huge improvement in her skin, and she’s been itching far less. It’s gentle, effective, and has really helped keep her comfortable. I would definitely recommend it to other dog owners!

My boys suffer environmental allergies in spring and summer. They loose the hair on their feet but with Coat Defense Powder, they no longer get infected from the licking. After our walk , I wash their feet followed by an application of Coat Defense. I use an old blush brush to apply. I know it works to soothe because they don’t constantly lick their feet due to the itch.

We are lucky not to have a lot of issues with our 3 German SHEPHERDS but during high allergy season when “Cody” gets itchy toes the powder instantly reduces the chewing. And it’s a bonus for him. He puts his paw right out for a little foot rub! He knows the bottle and is all for a little “me” time.

I tried everything for my French Bulldog’s skin issues, and nothing seemed to work. I used medicated shampoos, medicated wipes, allergy medications, and spent so much money on vet visits, but she still struggled with constant itching and irritated skin. I decided to try Coat Defense after seeing ads for it, and it honestly made a huge difference for her. She scratches much less now, her skin looks healthier, and she seems so much more comfortable overall. I use Coat Defense alongside Coat Defense shampoo, and the combination has worked incredibly well for us. If you have a French Bulldog or English Bulldog struggling with skin issues, I definitely recommend giving this product a try!

For MONTHS I tried to treat my horses coat from itchy, flaky, and eventually hot spot like areas on her body. Of course all in the midst of a harsh northern Michigan winter. The vet kept telling me it was lice but I could not find a single louse and I really didn’t want to treat her with harsh chemicals when I wasn’t even certain she had them. I finally found coat defense, and the reviews convinced me to try. This stuff is UNBELIEVABLE. Coat defense started working the very first moment I used it. It reminds me of a powder dry shampoo with peppermint essence. My pony loves it and you don’t need much to make it difference. I will never not have this in my tack room. Coat defense is a great product to protect my horses from the heat and sweat that causes issues.
If your dog is over 200 pounds you will need the large refill bag. Coat defense has helped with skin irritation. I wish I had tried it sooner.

My vet kept pushing allergy meds I tried them for couple months. They worked for couple weeks and than itching would return. Vet told me give my dog 4 benadryl 2x a day. That didn't sit well with me so I ordered this powder and I think It helped alot. I still rub him down when hes been out in the pond or wet. Hes barely itching now. Im pretty positive it was yeast flair up he experienced and not allergys . Thank u

It is the only shampoo that really helps her skin with her itching and dryness, and it makes her fur extremely soft. We love it.
Our mare had a cut on her shoulder from unknown origin. (Of course, this was discovered on a weekend - when my husband had just gone out of town.) I had used Coat Defense paste successfully on other scrapes so that was my first aid choice. It kept the tiny gnats and flies off the wound. I ordered the 3-pack including Coat Defense Field Coat. Field Coat was easy to apply to the nearly vertical cut. Dusting it with the powder provided additional protection from flies. My vet came to trim up the wound edges at about 5 days. He commented that I should keep doing whatever I'd been doing because it looked good. Attached photos are over a 4 week period. I've also used Field Coat on hide scrapes which need sun protection during healing. It seems hair re-grows or fills in a little bit faster. If you have horses, keep these products on hand. We also have two Pyrenees and I've used the powder for hot-spot relief on their tails, too. The fragrance is so pleasant I *may* have even used the paste on my own small gardening nicks. :->
I sent the before and after photos-Hope of came through-He's much improved-I love the way the paste sticks to the hair and the lesions. It's wonderful stuff.
My oldest boxer had a bad skin infection that left him with a big bald spot. I started using the paste on it and his hair has grown back in so well you can't even tell where he was bald!!!

Rudy is a sorrel and white paint, with a white face and pink nose. I've been fighting with his sunburn for year. We're tried other products and a plethora of long nose fly masks. He had a brand new beautiful one this year, the second day it was laying in the pasture, with all the buckles still closed. At that point I knew we needed something else. When we tried Coat Defense, Field Coat I was hopeful. It has worked beautifully. He fights me at first, but then he calms down and accepts his treats. It is a good and effective product!

MIRACLE PRODUCT!!! I will forever have this on hand at all times. My Shiloh Shepherd received 5 black fly bites 6 months ago & his Vet warned me they'd take a bit to heal & that he could have an allergic reaction. Well, poor Waylon definitely had an allergic reaction & I also assumed he was getting a little yeasty with some new food additions (turkey/duck). I have tried about 5 different products & they all worked to a certain extent...but this powder is the holy grail. I removed all fowl from his diet about 2 weeks ago & have been using this powder on his tummy (right side where irritation is) & his ears. His stomach is almost completely healed! Nothing is red & hot to the touch anymore. All of the weird skin & scabs are almost totally gone (just in the flakey fall off stage now). I can tell he feels better. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
