Product Use Guide

Eliminates and prevents rain rot, fungus, thrush, scratches and odor.
Soothes itchy and inflamed skin caused by insect bites, allergies, hives or sweet itch.
Use to save time drying moisture and sweat in cold months.
Prevent chafing, rubs, fungus and bacteria under equipment including boots, Rx boots, blankets and saddle pads.
As a dry bath to protect and retain natural shine.

If using as a remedy, leave on continuously, applying more as it wears off until completely healed.
In hard-to-reach areas, such as legs or under belly, pour powder into palm of hand and place directly onto desired area down to skin.
If using as a preventative or under equipment, apply generously and massage down to the skin and leave on.

For dark horses: In very rare instances, regular use of COAT DEFENSE® daily PREVENTATIVE POWDER may magnify the lightening effect of the sunlight and sweat. For our peace of mind, please test in a small area first.

So thankful my friend told me about this coat defense! First, the drying paste worked wonders for my donkey's legs, and told me about the powder for rain rot. When my big guy had this show up, I was so glad i had ordered it. 2nd picture is 10 days after using, last picture is 3 weeks of healing. Highly recommend!!

I have an older gray quarter horse that gets pastern crud. I have just started using the powder and I can see that it is already making a difference. I will continue to use the product and on a regular basis. I previously used baby powder but this is working much better.

Had an issue only with USPS over Christmas, like a lot of people... but this product is worth the money!! Accidentally cut my Golden trying to trim a mat behind her ear, superficial but Coat Defense applied after I cleaned it worked like a champ!! Also on the pup’s itchy spots etc. .. my daughter uses it on her horse. Highly recommend using this!!!
