Best products for horses in Florida!
So far I've used the drying clay on my horse. It's works really well. She has stopped rubbing her tail so I'm sold on this product.
Always had a problem with sweet itch every year, living in Florida that happens. Since using the powder it is gone and stays gone. I highly recommend this product.
Noticed improvement within a day. Easy to use and smells nice.

Works great on my horses and dogs.
Shampoo really works well with my mare. After washing her scratches/rain rot have cleared up each time. Along with the mud paste on bigger sores and powder to help keep it away. Also use the shampoo on my dog which we like.
The powder was super useful for a horse i have that has thin hair on her face. After working and sweating her face tends to lose some hair. Using this after washing her face with the shampoo post ride has helped her tremendously. Then later in the day we apply the Field Coat on areas she needs. The clay paste is honestly magical. It has worked well putting on raw skin from itching, heal wounds, and truthfully did everything the product says it does! Will definitely restock on everything when it’s time!
This helped immediately to clear up flaking scabs on my gelding. I highly recommend it!
I have a new horse whose hives are terrible. He looks better everytime I rub them down with the powder - plus he loves it!

I have tried numerous remedies and medications for my miniature horse who develops terrible sweet itch each summer. This summer we tried a combination of Coat Defense products from the sweet itch bundle and it has worked wonders! He has finally stopped itching and is growing his coat back. I would highly recommend!

I used the shampoo today. My question is, how to use it that it is most effective? The directions on the bottle said mix with water. Then a Facebook video, your ad, showed the person applying with her hand. I applied with my hand and massaged it into Sue’s hair coat. I then applied the powder. I guess my favorite of the three would be the paste.
Store owner replied: Hi Nancy, you can certainly apply it with your hand at full strength, but it is an aloe-based concentrate and a little goes a long way. For horses, it is normally easier to mix a capful or two in a bucket and use a sponge or the whole bottle in a 32oz spray bottle and spray it on. That will certainly make it last longer. If you use it straight, just keep in mind a little goes a long way.
Sadly it's not helping with the itch but the mud stuff helps with the crud on his belly.
I've been trying alot of products and suggestions from friends but after the first application of coat defense powder I think it's sweet itch is drying up and my horse looks so much better ! I'm convinced
Only used it once so far but seems to look and act like it says. Was a little late shipping wise was suppose to come the 20 but came the 22 instead nothing serious though.
Didn't help with the issue we had. Not sure if product or condition.

I was stung by a wasp on the top of my right hand. It was a rough day, I was stuck at the barn, and all I could remember was all the amazing reviews about the paste relieving bites, stings and sores on humans too. I put a big ole dab of paste on my hand and it stayed on for over an hour. I could feel the sting but it wasn't intolerable and there wasn't the anticipated swelling. When I got back to the house I had to wash my hands, which I didn't want to do. Within 10 minutes my hand was swollen and red and itched horribly. I wish I hadn't washed the paste off because it really kept my hand very comfortable. This paste is amazing and I will use it on ME more often!

So your reading the reviews wondering if you should spend the money on coat defense. The answer is YES! I have used coat defense amazing products for the last three years. It has cleared up my horses summer sores. Helped with itchy bug bites they get living in Florida. It has cleared up any rain rot they get from our rainy season. It’s great at preventing chafing of girths. The powder helps dry up sweat after riding. Even the shampoo helps with itchy skin.
I used the powder on my young Rocky Mountain horse and my Quarter Horse for rain rot, I was thrilled with how fast the product worked, and of course my young rocky has a spot on his forehead from rubbing and I used the paste and it stayed put and healed up quickly! Great product! I will definitely buy again!!
