Directions
Using the precision point gently apply powder in folds, tight areas, or through the coat down to the skin. You can also use your hand or grooming brush, to work the powder down to the skin.
Reapply daily to dissipate odor or prevent skin issues caused by pests that find your dog a perfect petri dish to inhabit.
If using as a remedy, leave on continuously, applying more as needed until completely healed.
Apply more often to areas prone to holding moisture like between paws, under legs, around genitals, in folds/wrinkles, and ears.
Ears: Gently flip the ear back to expose the affected area. Using your finger or a makeup brush, apply powder to fully cover the irritated skin. DO NOT squirt directly down ear canal.
NOTICE- PLEASE STOP AND READ BEFORE USING:
DO NOT squirt directly down ear canal.
Discontinue use of medicated shampoos, topicals, wipes, or ear products (for use with ear) especially those containing SODIUM LAUREL SULFATE, CHLORAHEXIDINE, COAL TAR, and SALYCILIC ACID. If using medicated shampoos, topicals, or wipes with these ingredients, we recommend waiting 3-5 days from last use to apply our powder and patch test to be safe. The powder is non-toxic but too alkaline for chemically irritated skin and may cause a reaction.
Most commercially available shampoos have ingredients that dry out skin and impede healing. We recommend not using these.
Avoid using on areas of skin treated with topical flea medications including under flea collars. The pesticides in these products often irritate the skin; combining with powder may cause a reaction.
Many pets find relief within 1-3 days. For those on antibiotics and or steroids, or have otherwise been immune compromised, results and healing may take 1-2 weeks.
It is not uncommon to see increased moisture from the skin when first starting. Oftentimes, yeast is not only on the skin but in the skin. The body's natural detergent is to ooze and push the pathogen from the skin/hair follicle. The powder speeds this process up due to the bentonite clay's drawing and drying ability. Wipe any moisture away and continue to apply the powder. If it gets too "gunky" to wipe away, you can use a wet cloth. Just make sure to follow-up with the powder after as a final dry and continue to use until cleared.
My dog Duke scratches around his collar. I rubbed some powder in his neck area and no more scratching! I love it! I will purchase when I need more! Thank you for sending the free bottle! I love it! So does Duke!
This has definitely worked to help clear up my boxers’ ears. They were always red, inflamed and full of gunk prior to use. Now they are 80% better after just a few weeks of use. I will continue using the daily preventative powder.
I haven't gotten to use it much. Shortly after I got it, my 9 y/o mini dachshund was diagnosed with a mammary tumor. The vet ordered a stop to everything except what she prescribes. But the little I did use it on my dog's skin showed promise. She tolerated it well and it was in the process of drying her yeasty armpits. I should be able to get back to it soon. I know there's nothing in there that would aggravate the tumor, but I appreciate the vet's abundance of caution.
My 13 year old mixed breed 20 lb lass was constantly licking her paws and scratching her backside so we gave your powder a go. She feels much better with powder applications to her affected areas. We purchased the two pound bag and were given the 4 oz squeeze bottle to apply it and it definitely improves her quality of life.
This is a recurring order for us. It doesn’t prevent the scratching but it helps with the frito smell and when applied frequently it keeps in between the paws dry.
I was really hoping this would helped my baby but u fortunately it hasn’t. His ears are much less dirty so that part helped but he still obsessively chewed his paws. When I put the powder there, he licked it off because apparently it tastes good 🤷🏻♀️. I don’t return it because it does seem to dry up his ear situation but I’m still on the search for a solution for his poor paws.
