Directions
Daily Preventative Powder
Using the precision point gently apply powder in folds, tight areas, or through the coat down to the skin. You can also use your hand or grooming brush, to work the powder down to the skin.
Reapply daily to dissipate odor or prevent skin issues caused by pests that find your dog a perfect petri dish to inhabit.
If using as a remedy, leave on continuously, applying more as needed until completely healed.
Apply more often to areas prone to holding moisture like between paws, under legs, around genitals, in folds/wrinkles, and ears.
Ears: Gently flip the ear back to expose the affected area. Using your finger or a makeup brush, apply powder to fully cover the irritated skin. DO NOT squirt directly down ear canal.
NOTICE- PLEASE STOP AND READ BEFORE USING:
DO NOT squirt directly down ear canal.
Discontinue use of medicated shampoos, topicals, wipes, or ear products (for use with ear) especially those containing SODIUM LAUREL SULFATE, CHLORAHEXIDINE, COAL TAR, and SALYCILIC ACID. If using medicated shampoos, topicals, or wipes with these ingredients, we recommend waiting 3-5 days from last use to apply our powder and patch test to be safe. The powder is non-toxic but too alkaline for chemically irritated skin and may cause a reaction.
Most commercially available shampoos have ingredients that dry out skin and impede healing. We recommend not using these.
Avoid using on areas of skin treated with topical flea medications including under flea collars. The pesticides in these products often irritate the skin; combining with powder may cause a reaction.
Some dogs with systemic yeast overgrowth may ooze after powder application. This is part of the normal healing process and will subside. Wipe the moisture and reapply fresh powder.
Many pets find relief within 1-3 days. For those on anti-biotics and or steroids, or have otherwise been immune compromised, results and healing may take 1-2 weeks.
Trouble Spot Drying Paste
Gently clean any dirt or debris from treatment area.
Flaky skin or scabs are ok. DO NOT pick off any existing scabs.
With one hand, gently push back fur so that the area is exposed. With the other hand, use fingers to apply a coating of the paste to the hotspot as if spreading peanut butter on a piece of bread. Do not rub in.
Note: Try to avoid applying paste to fur. The paste is not harmful, though it will dry like a scab and require bathing or brushing to remove.
Paste will dry to a near white shell. It is also effective if thinned out with water or witch hazel. Some breeds have coats that need a thinner viscosity to stick to skin.
Avoid applying the paste into paws, on joints or in skin folds. The scab that forms is abrasive.
Allow at least 2 days for skin cells to knit together under its protection. Use a wet cloth or water to remove.
Reapply as needed until skin is completely healed.
Sensitive Dog Shampoo
A little goes a long way!
You can use this shampoo directly out of the bottle, just start with a small amount and the lathering will be surprising.
Should you want to dilute before using, the following is what most of our dog customers are following:
Use 8 ounces to 32 ounces of water in spray bottle.8-ounce bottle will make 32 ounces of shampoo.
Enjoy and remember: The first ingredient is Aloe (not water) nature’s most nourishing and therapeutic ingredient for the skin and coat.

Simple as 1-2-3
Sequence matters. Here's the routine that works and why it works in this order.
01
Use powder on troubled areas and leave it on continuously until cleared up; usually takes a few days to nip it in the bud.
02
Shampoo either before starting the powder elimination phase or after it's cleared. Our safe and soothing formula will not strip natural skin oils or protective skin microbes both essential for your pup's skin to stay well and break the cycle. Keep dog as dry as possible during powder elimination phase.
03
Use powder on prone areas as a final dry after bath, swimming and damp days to prevent it from returning.
Daily Preventative Powder vs. What You've Tried
Why pet parents switch from short-term fixes to daily prevention.
Noticed a difference in less than a week! This product is amazing but you have to be consistent with it! This has made a difference in my babies skin. I have a blue brindle pit who has struggled so much with skin issues.. we’ve spent so much $$ at the vet.. this product has helped more than anything we have tried
I have a 7 year old male Standard Poodle that I adopted through an owner surrender. He has the worst yeast infections I have ever seen. I have changed food, probiotics, supplements etc. Everything I can possibly think of, including 3 saliva tests for allergies and sensitivities. Your product is the first thing that has actually helped. The only drawback for us is that he licks it off his body. I continue to re-apply but we go through a lot of it. I will stick with this, because we are seeing results after a few months of use. Thanks !
Not only was my bully was smelling like Fritos but my house was absorbing the smell too. Gross. My pup smells so good after a bath with the shampoo now. After he dries off, he loves it when I rub powder all over him. I have to put it in my hand because if I sprinkle it from the bottle, he sneezes like crazy. 😆 I’m going to buy a refill bag of the powder. It’s easy to apply and helps him stay smelling fresh. He doesn’t seem to lick his paws as much either.
The drying paste has become my favorite product. I honestly didn’t think I would use it much but it’s an amazing product. For humans too! I’ve used it on a couple of mosquito bites to try it out and was pleasantly surprised. I like the smell too. I love a good bundle set. It’s definitely a good way to try out several products at once. I’ve started recommending this to anybody with dogs because who wouldn’t want a fresher smelling pup?!
Just starting the shampoo phase for my fur baby I assume it will help out soon I’ll buy more in the future for better results. So far I’m a satisfied customer.
We like it okay, it has helped one dog but not another. I have a black Lav she needs the oils in her fur, I think this dries her out too much. She is starting to get some thin spots. I will probably go back to coconut oil with her. My other dog is a Catahoula Australian Shepherd mix, she has course short hair and this has worked great for her. The pink stuff smells good and has helped in-between the toes of the Lab the Catahoula mix seems a little offended by it. I'm neutral about the shampoo. I have used it once so far.
I am thoroughly impressed with the powder! My chihuahua was scratching like crazy all the time. Her skin was turning dark from scratching and chewing. I tried shampoos, creams and powders to no avail. It was driving her nuts. When our order was delivered I doused her with powder and noticed a difference immediately. Within about 3 days she stopped scratching completely. I’m still putting a little on her tummy and armpits and neck to keep her comfortable. This product has made a huge difference in Chloe’s health and comfort. Thank you!
This is a wonderful all-natural product that ACTUALLY WORKS! I have tried many products for my dog’s sensitive skin, only to be let down and feeling like I spent unneccessary monies, which was so true. I tried Coat Defense at the suggestion from a close friend, who has used this on her dog for about a year now, because this helped heal her dog’s sensitive skin issues. I am COMPLETELY satisfied with my purchase! You have earned my loyalty because you helped my fur baby be more comfortable and helped his healing be much quicker! Thank you from the bottom of my heart…
Works great on our Frenchies!
One of ours has serious allergies and the other has seasonal. We use the whole bundle and have definitely seen improvements.
Already made such a big difference in the few days we’ve had it. Not a single scratch or chewing on paws since applying the first time. The shampoo took off SO much build up from her skin, she is so soft and smells so good. Thank you so much
